Sessions & Fees

I offer effective treatment and value for money. Sessions are tailored to each child. Session length will vary from 30min to 60 min depending on each child’s needs, age and concentration span.

Initial consultation and full speech and language assessment
€140 (with written report €200)

This assessment uses standardised assessment alongside informal assessment in order to gain a good idea of the child’s strengths and weaknesses in terms of their communication skills. A detailed case history will be gathered from the child’s parent in order to gain an insight into any relevant background that may have contributed to a speech/language difficulty. These factors combined will inform the direction of any therapy required. This session usually lasts 1-2 hours.

Speech sound assessment - €80

During this assessment informal observations are combined with standardised assessment in order to determine the presence of a speech sound delay or disorder and whether therapy is required. This session usually lasts up to 1 hour.

Dyslexia Support

Individual sessions: €35 for 60 minutes

Cancellations: There is no charge for appointments cancelled at least 48hrs in advance. Cancellations less than 48hrs beforehand may incur a discretionary charge.

Please note: Speech and Language Therapy for children is tax deductible, but requires a referral letter from your GP/Consultant. Please retain receipts in order to claim tax back using a MED 1 form available here or at www.revenue.ie

Private Health Insurance: Please contact your health insurance provider in order to find out whether you can claim back costs for private speech and language therapy.
